Empower Your Financial Future Through Financial Education in Utah

Bankruptcy Pre-Discharge Debtor Education

As per the Bankruptcy Abuse and Consumer Protection Act of 2005 (BAPCPA), consumers who file a Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy are required to complete a bankruptcy counseling session from an agency approved by the Executive Office for United States Trustees (EOUST).  Clients must complete this debtor education class AFTER they file for bankruptcy.

FGC is approved to provide bankruptcy pre-discharge debtor education and issue certificates in compliance with the Bankruptcy Code. Approval does not endorse or assure the quality of an Agency’s services.  FGC can issue certificates for the judicial districts located in Nevada, Utah, Arizona, and California only.

Please note, a bankruptcy case number is required to complete the registration.

You may register, pay, and complete the class online

Download and print a copy of the form online, fill it out, and mail it to FGC’s Corporate Office (2650 S. Jones, Las Vegas, NV 89146) with the required fee ($50 money order or cashier’s check).
